Citizen Complaint Procedures
The Clarksville Police Department's mission is to be the model of excellence in policing by working in partnership with our Community.
If you have a complaint against one of our officers, the following procedures are available to hear your complaint.
Call the Clarksville Police Department, anytime, at 812.288.7151, select option 2 for dispatch.
Ask to speak with the Officer's Shift Supervisor.
If your complaint has not been addressed to your satisfaction, you may file a formal complaint.
In order to file a complaint, you may either print out a copy of the formal complaint by clicking on the link below, or by picking up a copy of the complaint from the Clarksville Police Department records division during normal business hours free-of-charge.
The complaint will be forwarded to the Assistant Chief of Police for investigation.
Complaint forms must be filled out completely and hand delivered to the Clarksville Police Department, or mailed via Certified Mail following the instructions on the form.
