August 15, 2008 Buy-Bust Leads To Drug Arrest Chief Dwight Ingle announced that the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Clarksville Police Department, along with the Floyd County Sheriff and Jeffersonville Police Departments, arrested Phillip T. Carey (W/M 11-17-83) of Clarksville and Timothy A. Wilson, Jr. (W/M 11-3-81) of New Albany. After being placed under surveillance and verification of the drugs confirmed, Wilson was arrested at the Lighthouse Apartment complex in Jeffersonville and charged with Dealing in a Controlled Substance, Class A Felony and Carey was arrested at the River Chase Apartments in Clarksville and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Class D Felony. Chief Ingle stated that oxycodone and lortab are narcotic pain relievers and are available only by a prescription. The recovered pills have a street value around $5500.00.
