Month Of December 2000
00-5709:
Someone pried open the back door of this business to gain entry. The
following items were taken: Compaq Lap Top Computer valued at $2300.00,
a key plug front he computer valued at $2000.00, a 17" monitor,
misc. tools and an industrial sewing machine.
00-5714:
As the employees were preparing to close the store a black male wearing
a ski mask entered through the front door. He pointed a gun at the
employees and demanded they put money into a bug. He threatened to kill
them if they didn't do as asked. He also knocked the video surveillance
camera off the wall with his gun. The gun appeared to be a black
automatic, similar to a nine millimeter in caliber. He took the money
and fled on foot.
00-5718:
The desk clerk had been in the restroom. As she came out two teenage
boys, with a gun, forced her back into the restroom. They stole $700.00
from the front desk. They are described as 15 to 16 years old, baggy
pants and ball caps. One boy with thin the other husky. They carried a
small silver handgun.
00-5721:
Someone broke into a 1998 Chevy and stole a Pentax Camera with carrying
case and flash attachment valued at $600.00k his day planner. The book
contained his credit card and $100.00 in cash. The planner was later
found outside the store, but the money and credit card was missing.
00-5724:
An attempt to steal a 1987 Chevy Monte Carlo was averted because the
engine was equipped with a kill switch. Since the thief could not get
the vehicle started, the stereo was ripped from the dash and glove
compartment damaged. They also stole CD's valued at $360.00 The stereo
was worth $400.00. |
